From a dream to a reality, Mom (Tammie), Daughter (Shala), and Daughter-N-Law (Jessica) Started Mug On the Square to bring the community together, a place they can talk over coffee and become part of the mug community.

We started looking for our gathering space in 2017. When we found our current location at #6 E. Chambers and fell in love with the Square, the building and all the history within its walls. We knew this was our place to achieve our dreams of helping by bringing the community together, so our story began....

We hired 3Generations-REI, Dad (Scott) and Son (Jeremy). They started the renovation in 2018 and our doors opened in 2019.

Today 4 of 7 grandkids work at the Mug, making our team feel like home. We are successful thanks to our community and our MUG Squad. Watch it grow

How do we bring the best coffee to you?

The best way to taste the essence of the bean is to perform a cupping. We took our top 6 roasters and put their espresso beans to a side by side blind taste test, out of those 6, we narrowed it down to the two than finally to the one bean we serve today in all our espresso drinks.
